As a person in my eighties I had resigned myself to being less steady on my legs and to a loss of general strength and balance. Then I had my first session with Craig.I was very impressed by his knowledge and understanding, so much so I now have regular sessions and I am pleasantly impressed by the overall improvement I now feel in my physical wellbeing. I'm feeling better every week and am so much more confident when walking.

After my fitness and weight loss had begun to plateau, I contacted Craig who booked me in for an initial consultation. Despite walking about 1 ½ miles a day with our dogs and being slightly underweight, my doctor said I needed to get fitter and reduce my blood pressure. My record of attending Gyms is not good, as I always tend to overdo it and so the only way was to find a personal trainer. Searching the internet for Personal Trainer Derby, Craig’s name popped up.
We met and chatted over a cup of tea about what I needed. Craig is a friendly guy, not pushy, relaxed and about the same build as me and so I decided to try an initial package of six sessions. I am just starting my third set of sessions and gradually with Craig increasing the weights, the repetitions and the running, I am feeling better. Craig has proved to be very patient, extremely knowledgeable and very experienced with a huge range of exercises to build up every conceivable muscle.
I meet him twice a week for an hour and that is enough to exhaust me and yet make steady progress. Craig has also been very helpful with suggestions of how to improve my vegetarian diet and the sort of vitamins I should be taking. Just a quick note to thank you for everything you have done while helping me over the last few months. You have helped no end just the thought of putting on my wedding dress and having photos taken scared me to death let alone going on my honeymoon and putting on a bathing suit!
